Description

In the historic Marble Hall of Schloss Mirabell, one of Salzburg's most significant concert venues, the Mozart Consort Salzburg invites you to an evening featuring works by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Antonín Dvořák. Founded in 1999 in the city of Mozart, the ensemble brings together musicians with years of experience in renowned formations such as the Mozarteum Orchestra and the Salzburg Festival.

The program begins with Mozart's "March in D Major K. 290", the "Divertimento in D Major K. 205", and the world-famous "Serenade in G Major K. 525 'Eine kleine Nachtmusik'". After the intermission, Dvořák's emotional "Cello Concerto in B Minor Op. 104", performed by Matthias Beckmann, follows. Depending on the piece, the ensemble's lineup ranges from a duo to a chamber orchestra. The concert is subject to possible program changes.
