Description

In the Baroque Marble Hall of Schloss Mirabell, Ensemble 1756 presents a concert featuring three significant works by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart: the Quartet for Flute, Violin, Viola, and Violoncello in D major K. 285, the world-famous Serenade in G major K. 525 "Eine kleine Nachtmusik," and the virtuosic Concerto for Flute and Strings in G major K. 313. Marcello Gatti, soloist on the traverso flute, performs the demanding flute part of the concerto.

Founded in Salzburg, Ensemble 1756 brings together internationally experienced musicians trained at renowned institutions such as the Mozarteum.
