Description

In the historic Marble Hall of Schloss Mirabell, one of Salzburg’s most significant concert halls where the Mozart family once made music, Ensemble 1756 presents a Baroque palace concert on original instruments. The program combines Mozart’s elegant Salzburg Divertimenti in D major (KV 136) and F major (KV 138) with Vivaldi’s famous "Four Seasons"—a masterpiece that captures the moods of nature in musical imagery.

Founded in 2006, the ensemble is dedicated to historical performance practice and interprets works from the 17th and 18th centuries with stylistic precision and authentic sound. Under the direction of Florian Moser, Baroque violinist, the evening brings to life the elegance and vitality of Baroque music.
