Baroque concert featuring works by Vivaldi and Mozart in the Marble Hall

In the baroque Marble Hall of Mirabell Palace, one of the world's most historically significant concert halls, the Ensemble 1756 invites you to a concert on period instruments. The program combines Mozart's lively Salzburg Divertimenti KV 136 and KV 138 with Vivaldi's famous 'Four Seasons,' a musical journey through nature. Founded in Salzburg in 2006, the ensemble is dedicated to the stylistically authentic interpretation of Baroque music and impresses with its authentic sound, based on historical instrumentation and performance practices.

Under the direction of Florian Moser on the Baroque violin, an evening will come to life that revives the elegance and expressive power of 18th-century music. The Marble Hall, once the stage for performances by the Mozart family, provides the perfect ambiance for this—a union of acoustic and architectural splendor.
