Max – The Snorkeling Monster

In this play for a broad audience aged five and up, Beat Fäh tells the story of Max, an unusual snorkel monster with attached fins. Teased by his classmates and pressured by societal expectations, Max feels misunderstood – until he meets a quirky cleaning professional. She loves her suitcase radio, old schlager music, and perfectionism in cleaning. Both outsiders long to "do everything right" and develop a special friendship.

At its core is the conflict between the desire for recognition, freedom, and self-determination on one side and rigid rules and performance pressure on the other. Through acting, acrobatics, dance, and music from the suitcase radio, a imaginative production emerges that touches and encourages reflection. The cast includes Pamina Milewska and Raphael Steiner, directed by Reinhold Tritscher, with costumes by Viktoria Semperboni.
