Vibrant Mozart classics meet Strauss waltzes: Enjoy a festive year-end celebration with Viennese charm and musical elegance.
Description
To ring in the year, a festive concert invites you to experience the elegance of Mozart’s chamber music alongside the captivating waltzes of Johann Strauss. The program features Mozart’s lively Divertimento in F major, K. 138, and the melodic String Quartet in E-flat major, K. 160, complemented by Strauss’s popular pieces such as the spirited "Parisian Polka" and the energetic "Thunder and Lightning." The Residenz Ensemble String Quartet performs the works with Viennese charm and joyful precision, creating an atmosphere brimming with tradition and musical lightness. A perfect way to close the year—between classical refinement and spirited dance.
