Lively sounds of Mozart and Strauss to ring in the New Year – a festive concert full of elegance and Viennese tradition.
Description
As the year draws to a close, visitors can look forward to a concert that blends the elegant sounds of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart with the exhilarating energy of Johann Strauss. The program spans from Mozart’s early Divertimento in F Major K. 138 and the String Quartet in E-flat Major K. 160 to Strauss’s beloved works such as Leichtes Blut, Pariser Polka, and Unter Donner und Blitz.
The pieces will be performed by members of the Residenz-Ensemble: Jiachen Zhang and Balazs Moldiz (violin), Romana Rauscher (viola), and Detlef Mielke (cello). An evening that combines classical music tradition with lively entertainment—perfect for bringing the year to a festive close.
