Experience a festive year-end celebration with Mozart and Strauss – elegant chamber music meets lively waltz melodies.
Description
To celebrate the end of the year, visitors are treated to a concert that blends the timeless elegance of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart with the spirited charm of Johann Strauss. The program ranges from Mozart’s classical chamber music—including the Divertimento in F major, K. 138, and the String Quartet in E-flat major, K. 160—to the lively waltzes and polkas of the "Waltz King," such as "Leichtes Blut" and "Unter Donner und Blitz."
Members of the Residenz Ensemble, including Emeline Pierre and Balazs Moldiz (violin), Romana Rauscher (viola), and Detlef Mielke (cello), perform the works in the tradition of Viennese music. An uplifting evening filled with joy, harmoniously bringing the year to a close.
