Max – The Snorkel Monster

"Max – The Snorkel Monster" by Beat Fäh tells a imaginative and touching story about friendship and the desire for recognition. Max, an unusual snorkel monster with fused fins, feels misunderstood by the other children and the expectations of adults. Especially the pressure to perform and the rules of school weigh heavily on him. But then he meets a quirky janitor who brings variety with her suitcase radio and old hits. She too tries to "do everything right" – even climbing curtains to remove cobwebs. The two outsiders develop a special friendship based on acceptance and freedom.

The staging by Reinhold Tritscher combines acting, acrobatics, and dance with music from an old suitcase radio. The costumes are designed by Viktoria Semperboni, and the cast includes Pamina Milewska and Raphael Steiner. An entertaining and at the same time profound experience for the whole family from 5 years up.
