Experience a magical concert in the historic Marble Hall of Mirabell Palace. The Amadeus Consort Salzburg performs masterpieces by Mozart and Hummel—a musical evening for classical music lovers.
In the baroque Marble Hall of Mirabell Palace, where the Mozart family once performed for the Archbishops of Salzburg, the Amadeus Consort Salzburg presents a program featuring works by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Johann Nepomuk Hummel. The ensemble, founded in Salzburg and internationally experienced, interprets Mozart's Salzburg Divertimento in F major KV 138, the Piano Concerto in B-flat major KV 595, and the famous Serenade in G major KV 525 'Eine kleine Nachtmusik' – the latter in orchestral arrangement. The evening is complemented by Hummel's Quintet for Piano, Violin, Viola, Cello, and Double Bass in E-flat minor Op. 87, with pianist Anastasiia Kliuchereva as soloist.
The members of the Amadeus Consort, primarily students of the Mozarteum, are active in renowned orchestras and ensembles worldwide. The evening combines Salzburg's classical music tradition with the unique ambiance of one of the world's most historically significant concert halls.
