Advent matinee with works by Mozart and Salieri

This Advent matinee in the baroque Marble Hall of Mirabell Palace—once a performance venue for the Mozart family—transports you into the world of elegant and lively sounds. Ensemble 1756, together with solo flutist Irmgard Messin, presents a program featuring works by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Antonio Salieri. The audience will hear Mozart’s Salzburg Divertimenti in D major KV 136 and F major KV 138, the Serenade in G major KV 525 'Eine kleine Nachtmusik,' as well as the Concerto for Flute and Strings in D major KV 314. As soloist, Messin also shines in Salieri’s Concertino da camera for Flute and Strings in G major. A concert that captivates with virtuosity, lightness, and the special charm of the historic hall.
