Castle Concert in Salzburg

In the Baroque Marble Hall of Schloss Mirabell, the Mozart Consort Salzburg presents a concert featuring works from the Viennese Classical and Baroque periods. The focus is on compositions by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, including the "Salzburg Divertimento" K. 136 and the serenade "Eine kleine Nachtmusik." The program is complemented by Leopold Mozart's "Musikalische Schlittenfahrt," Albinoni's "Adagio in G Minor," as well as harp concertos by Vivaldi and Handel. Harpist Laura Laszloffy accompanies the ensemble.

Founded in 1999, the Mozart Consort Salzburg primarily dedicates itself to the works of Mozart and his contemporaries. The ensemble's members bring extensive experience from Salzburg institutions such as the Mozarteum Orchestra and the Salzburg Festival. Their repertoire includes not only classical works but also masterpieces from the Baroque and Romantic eras. The program may be subject to last-minute changes.
